Oktoberfest
On the evening of October 28th, one could hear the festivities going on at Hope as we celebrated Oktoberfest! Food, drink and music brought together visitors of the community and members of the church. It was an evening where friends and family were able to dance to some polka, eat good food, and sit around a bonfire. Theater Bible School
Calling all kids First Grade and up! Come to Theater Bible School at Hope Lutheran Church! We will be learning and performing fun plays from playwright Peter Bloedel. Kids learn blocking, lines and acting skills, costume and set design, all the while taking in the deeper meaning of the Bible lessons. Christians wonder which candidate they should support. God doesn’t tell us. Lent is a 6-week season of the church year leading up to Easter whereby we contemplate Jesus’ passion. Please join us for Lenten services Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Each week we will be considering different words that Jesus spoke while on the cross.
