On the evening of October 28th, one could hear the festivities going on at Hope as we celebrated Oktoberfest! Food, drink and music brought together visitors of the community and members of the church. It was an evening where friends and family were able to dance to some polka, eat good food, and sit around a bonfire. Join us on this special night for singing Christmas carols and hearing about the Christ Child – our newborn King and Savior! Worship is at 6:30 p.m. There will be some carols by candlelight too!!

Calling all kids First Grade and up!  Come to Theater Bible School at Hope Lutheran Church!  We will be learning and performing fun plays from playwright Peter Bloedel.  Kids learn blocking, lines and acting skills, costume and set design, all the while taking in the deeper meaning of the Bible lessons. Political battles are being waged throughout our country. Who will be the party nominees? Who will be the next president? There are many issues deeply dividing our country that are concerning to all. Christians wonder which candidate they should support. God doesn’t tell us. As Christians, we are citizens of two kingdoms: thekingdom of the left (this world—in whichever city or country we live) and the kingdom of the right (the Christian Church). It’s difficult to balance those two kingdoms…

Good Friday Good Friday Service of the Cross is at 7:30pm. Reflect on Christ’s suffering and death as our Savior. Celebrate Easter! Festival Worship at 10am, followed by an Easter egg hunt and brunch!

Lent is a 6-week season of the church year leading up to Easter whereby we contemplate Jesus’ passion. Please join us for Lenten services Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Each week we will be considering different words that Jesus spoke while on the cross.
