A Christian’s hope, Biblical hope, is hope in Jesus Christ. Our hope is not uncertain, as in: “I hope it will work out,” or: “I hope I’ll be saved.” Our hope of everlasting life in Him is a certain hope.
The Bible says: “The Lord Jesus Christ is our hope” (1 Timothy 1:1), and that we have “a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:3). It’s “through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures we have hope” (Romans 15:4).
